MicroTec factory floor

For more than two decades, MicroTec engineered and manufactured high-performance equipment for global markets. For years, our factory operated behind the scenes producing for distributors, brands, and private labels worldwide.

Today, MicroTec USA brings that same factory expertise directly to American businesses, cutting out unnecessary middleman layers to deliver better value, faster communication, and long-term supply stability.

Still Pressing One Shirt at a Time?

You already know the routine: load, position, press, wait, peel, repeat: 120 an hour on a good day, with your most experienced operator glued to the machine. The press isn't the bottleneck. The waiting is.

The APEX X6 breaks the cycle. While one garment presses, you're loading the next two. No dwell-time babysitting, no rushed placements at hour six, no output cliff when your best operator calls in sick.

Questions before you switch to automation

What owners want to know before switching to automation, and to a name they haven't bought from before.

I've never heard of MicroTec. Why should I trust a five-figure machine from a new brand?

The machines have 23+ years behind them. MicroTec USA is the official U.S. arm of Microtec, a manufacturer building heat presses that run production floors worldwide. What's new is the part that protects you: California inventory, a showroom you can walk into, U.S.-based support at (714) 261-9498, and factory-direct pricing without an importer's markup. You're buying a proven machine with a shorter supply chain, not beta-testing a startup.

My operators are fast. Will automation really beat a skilled hand on a manual press?

On a single garment? Your best operator ties the machine. Over a shift? It's not close. A strong operator on an auto-open press holds ~120/hr until fatigue, breaks, and hour eight. The APEX X6 sustains up to 340/hr with one operator because pressing and loading happen simultaneously, and station 6 presses identically to station 1 all day. Automation removes the waiting that wastes your operator's skill.

What happens when it breaks mid-order? I can't have a $37K paperweight.

Lifetime U.S. technical support and same-day parts shipping on stocked components from our Orange, CA warehouse. A machine down is revenue down. Our support model is built around that math, not around ticket queues.

Does the X6 handle DTF transfers, or just sublimation and HTV?

All three. DTF, sublimation, screen-printed transfers, HTV. The X6's digital time/temp control stores presets per application, and the built-in preheat station is especially valuable for DTF, where garment moisture is the #1 cause of adhesion failures. If you're running gang sheets all day, the preheat plate is the spec that pays rent.

What about power and air? My shop isn't an industrial facility.

Power and air specs for the X6 are on the product page and get confirmed during the demo call, before you buy, not after delivery. If you're running a Titan or any pneumatic press today, you likely already have the shop air. We walk your power and compressor setup with you on that call so delivery day is not a surprise.

How long from order to pressing shirts?

In-stock APEX machines typically ship freight-insured from Orange, CA within a few business days when in stock, and white-glove onboarding is scheduled around your delivery: live training with a technician, your presets dialed for your transfers. Realistically, pressing production work the same week it lands, not the same quarter.

What if my volume doesn't justify the X6 yet?

Then don't buy it. Buy the rung you're on. That's what the Vector, Titan, and Atlas lines are for ($339 to $3,990+), and they share the same support, warranty, and supplier relationship. Plenty of shops start on a Titan dual-station and step up when order volume forces the conversation. The ladder exists so your first MicroTec isn't your last.

Can I see it run before I commit?

Yes, and you should. Book a live demo at the Orange, CA showroom and bring your own garments and transfers, or watch it run on a live video call. Machines that can't survive a demo don't deserve a PO. Ours books demos for a reason.
